Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruiz was born on February 15, 1970 in Monterrey , Nuevo León. Daughter of Manuel Treviño and Gloria Ruiz. In 1989 changed its identity to become Gloria Trevi and Sergio Andrade professional hand would reach the peak of fame . Singer , host , actress, dancer , draftsman and Mexican composer of Latin pop and rock in Spanish , winner of 9 Grammy Awards Latino.
The singer and her former manager Sergio Andrade , were accused of sexually abusing minors .
The arrest took place in January 2000 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil where Gloria spent three years imprisoned without being judged . In February 2002 she gave birth to a child conceived in prison , whom he named Angel Gabriel. Trevi was extradited to Mexico in December 2002 where his case was brought to trial. Mexican justice acquitted of the offenses of aggravated rape , kidnapping and corruption of minors , granting absolution and exoneración4 charges . She was released on September 21, 2004.5
